FYF Technologies Inc. ("FYF," "we," "our," or "us") operates the Find Your 'Fit mobile application and the website usefyf.com (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our Service.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Account information: Your phone number, used to create and authenticate your account via SMS verification.
• Profile information: Your name and style preferences you choose to provide during onboarding.
• Style and preference data: Occasions you shop for, price preferences, aesthetic preferences, and style information you enter to personalize your feed.
• Wardrobe data: Items you upload to your wardrobe, including brand, size, fit feedback, and price paid.
• Shopping activity: Items you save, lists you create, and affiliate links you tap.
• Waitlist information: Your email address if you sign up for our waitlist.

We also collect certain information automatically when you use the Service:

• Device information (device type, operating system, unique device identifiers)
• Usage data (screens viewed, features used, time spent in the app)
• Log data (IP address, access times, referring URLs)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Authenticate you via SMS one-time passwords
• Power the personalized feed, scoring engine, and style intelligence features
• Rank and filter inventory based on your preferences, style profile, and activity history
• Improve and develop the Service
• Send you service-related communications (not marketing without your consent)
• Comply with legal obligations
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal profile or style data with third-party advertisers.

We may share your information with:

• Service providers: Third-party vendors who help us operate the Service, including Supabase (database infrastructure) and Twilio (SMS verification). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us.
• Affiliate networks: When you tap an affiliate link, you are redirected to a third-party website. We share only the information necessary to track the referral for commission purposes. We do not share your personal profile with affiliate partners.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Style and Preference Data

Your style profile — including preferences, occasions, wardrobe data, and behavioral signals — is the core of what powers FYF. We treat this data with the highest level of care:

• Style data is stored locally on your device and, optionally, in your account profile
• Data stored in your account profile is encrypted at rest in our database
• We never share your style profile with brands, retailers, or advertisers
• Style data is used solely to personalize your experience within the app
• You can update or clear your preferences at any time from the Personalize screen

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

Waitlist email addresses are retained until you request removal or we launch the Service publicly, whichever comes first.

6. Your Privacy Controls

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: You can view your profile data within the app at any time.
• Correction: You can update your profile and preferences in the app.
• Deletion: You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data from our systems.
• Data portability: You may request a copy of your personal data by emailing us at the address below.
• Opt-out of notifications: You can disable push notifications through your device settings.

7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

• The right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell
• The right to delete personal information we have collected from you
• The right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
• The right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Users between the ages of 13 and 17 may use the Service only with parental consent.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), encrypted storage at rest, row-level security policies on our database, and SMS-based authentication. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Third-Party Links

The Service contains affiliate links to third-party websites and apps. When you tap these links, you leave our Service and are subject to the privacy policies of those third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy in the app or sending a notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
